That's how Glaucoma is often called.
It slowly damages the eyes and can cause irreparable harm before there is any perceivable symptom. For this reason, it is severely under-diagnosed everywhere in the world: between 50% and 90% of people affected by Glaucoma are not aware of having it.
Reperio Medtech and its partners UMCG and Koninklijke Visio are at the forefront of the battle against Glaucoma and other neuro-ophthalmic disorders by improving the way vision loss is measured: more objectively, more efficiently, and closer to people. A better screening system that can save the sight of millions.
Our PROMISE project has been nominated to win the Health Valley Bridgeprijs Award: with our technology, we are enabling every healthcare professional to perform rigorous visual functions examination everywhere, bringing top-quality healthcare closer to people.
